The Routh Collection Greeting Card Company was created in 1994 by Craig Routh and his father Stan Routh. They have captured the unique flavor of Louisiana in these cards as only natives of the state could.
Craig Routh began his professional career as an artist in 1977 at age 17 and has won numerous awards for his work. He has exhibited in many of the finest art events in the country including Walt Disneyworld's "Festival of the Masters". His watercolors of people, animals, and landscapes are included in private and corporate collections throughout the United States and other countries. As this site is developed it will display the diversity of his paintings; from portraits of Jazz Artists, champion Brahman bulls, Louisiana landscapes, to an illustrated "Cypress Tree Alphabet" and greeting cards.
Stan Routh is an architect who loves to draw. He won 1st place in his first competition in 1973 for his pencil drawing of a Swiss Church. Since then he has won hundreds of awards, including "Best of Show" in five states. Disneyworld purchased his drawing "Nets N' Riggin'" for their corporate collection in 1978 and recognized him for "Best Demonstration" in the 1981"Festival of the Masters". Stan's drawings and paintings have been in over 500 juried art events and numerous one man shows. He has developed a collection of over 2500 landmark sketch prints of subjects all over Louisiana and surrounding states, which he calls,"Places People Remember".
