Adolpheaux the Adventurous Dolphin is a story about a young dolphin who woke up one morning and could not find his mother, so he left his home to search for her. He ended up near a shore, where he befriended a couple of children. Eventually his mother finds him and teaches him not to leave home without her permission.
She explains that he put himself in danger. She tells him that he was very lucky that he was not hurt or worse, eaten by a shark. Adolpheaux learns a very important lesson that will translate to a young person very easily. Tommie Townsley, is well-known for her “Cajun Tales” that continue to inspire and bring children joy. Mrs. Townsley was born and reared in Sulphur, Louisiana, where she currently resides. She obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology and a Minor in English from McNeese State University. Mrs. Townsley graduated with several honors and achieved Academic Excellence. Presently, she has published four children’s books, Adolpheaux The Adventurous Dolphin, Clyde The Cajun Calf, Amos The Artistic Alligator, and just recently, Dixie The Ole Dawg.
